Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Antigua
Your journey begins in the enchanting colonial city of Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its vibrant culture and well-preserved Spanish Baroque architecture. Upon arrival, you'll embark on an orientation walk through the cobblestone streets, soaking in the city's rich history and picturesque scenery. In the evening, we'll gather for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, where you'll savor authentic Guatemalan cuisine and get to know your fellow travelers.

Day 2: Antigua - Volcano Hiking Adventure
Today offers the thrill of choosing your adventure: a challenging hike up Acatenango, one of Guatemala’s most famous volcanoes, or a less strenuous hike on Pacaya, an active volcano where you can roast marshmallows over hot lava flows. These hikes provide stunning views and an opportunity to learn about the geological forces that shape this dynamic region. Whether you seek adventure or a more relaxed experience, you'll be immersed in the natural beauty that surrounds Antigua.

Day 3: Antigua to Tzununá - Journey to Lake Atitlán
We’ll leave Antigua and travel to the serene shores of Lake Atitlán, often described as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Upon arrival in the peaceful village of Tzununá, you’ll check into your eco-friendly accommodation. As the sun sets, unwind with a rejuvenating yoga session overlooking the calm waters of the lake, setting the tone for the tranquil days ahead.

Day 4: Tzununá - Yoga, Fire Ceremony, and Nahual Reading
Begin your day by immersing yourself in the spiritual traditions of the Mayan culture with a fire ceremony led by a local spiritual guide. This sacred ritual of gratitude is believed to connect participants with the energies of the Earth, fire, air and water, as well as the ancestors and energies of the sacred Mayan calendar. Following the ceremony, you'll have the opportunity to receive a personalized Nahual reading, which is based on the Mayan calendar and offers insights into your personality and destiny. In the late afternoon, partake in a revitalizing yoga session, surrounded by the lush landscapes of Lake Atitlán.

Day 5: Tzununá to El Paredón - Cultural Exploration and Coastal Retreat
After a morning yoga session, we'll visit the village of San Juan La Laguna, where you'll have a chance to explore its vibrant art scene, learn about traditional textile weaving, and meet local artisans. In the afternoon, we’ll travel to El Paredón, a laid-back coastal village on Guatemala’s Pacific coast, known for its black sand beaches and excellent surf. Check into your beachfront accommodation and enjoy the evening at your leisure, soaking in the relaxed vibe of this hidden gem.

Day 6: El Paredón - Surfing, Paddleboarding, and Relaxation
Spend a full day at your own pace in El Paredón. Whether you’re a seasoned surfer or a beginner, you can hit the waves with a surf lesson, explore the tranquil mangroves by paddleboard, or simply relax on the beach. This day is all about embracing the natural beauty of the Pacific coast and indulging in the tranquility of your surroundings.

Day 7: Departure
As your Guatemalan adventure comes to an end, we’ll depart from El Paredón and travel back to the airport for your journey home. You'll leave with unforgettable memories of Guatemala’s diverse landscapes, rich cultural experiences, and the newfound serenity from daily yoga practice.
